Hello and welcome to Family Tree Photography, I'm Simona and I am a newborn and family photographer based in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.

I have always taken an interest in photography, even as a toddler I used to carry around a pink handbag full of photos and show them again and again to anyone and everyone! I am extremely passionate about being able to preserve memories through photography.

I have two beautiful children myself, so I understand how quickly those first few years fly by and the importance of having beautiful photographs to be able to look at and re-live the feelings of holding your brand new baby close; that newborn smell and their tiny hands wrapped around your fingers. 

​

It was when I went myself to have some newborn pictures taken of my daughter that I began my journey into newborn photography. I watched the way the photographer worked and was in awe at how she was with Isla and got the most beautiful photos of her. I just knew this was what I wanted to do.

I have invested in training in newborn safety and truly believe I have the best job in the world! Lots of newborn cuddles - although often with the perils of being weed and pooed on!
