Mother's Day Gift Ideas

There are so many amazing local businesses in Newark, I wanted to do a little round up of some of the beautiful Mother's day gifts I have seen. When I set up Family Tree Photography and started following lots of other local businesses,
I have seen how many amazing and talented people we have in and around Newark. It is so important to support your local businesses as many of them offer such beautiful and unique products, we need to get behind them and buy local!
First up is Sun Soaked Florals, Emma who runs this business is a friend of mine, she is wonderful and so creative. She creates the most beautiful dried flower bouquets that would be perfect for a Mother's day gift, the beauty of them being that if looked after well, they will last forever. I have a gorgeous orange bouquet in my kitchen, it always makes me smile, as it is so bright and cheery! You can find Sun Soaked Florals on Instagram and a link to her Etsy below.
Next up is Kjs Bakes, Julie's bakes are delicious! My particular favourites are the chocolate scotch eggs that she does at Easter, they are a choice of either Creme Eggs, Caramel Eggs, Oreo Eggs or Lindt Eggs wrapped in brownie and then a delicious crumb. I have such a sweet tooth and can't resist!
For Mother's day Julie is offering a wonderful Afternoon Tea, this can be for one or two adults, or she offers a family afternoon tea, for two adults and two kids for £36. These consist of some amazing local produce, such as Sausage Rolls and quiche from GH Porters, Cheesecake pots from Oh Em Cheesecake and Mother's day chocolates from Simply Sweet. Along with some wonderful sandwich flavours and bakes in there are well - Fruit Scone with cream and jam, Caramel brownie and Lemon and Blueberry Cake. I have put the full list of what is included below, orders have to be in by the 20th of March, so pop her a message on Instagram on the link below to book one for collection or delivery. They are also regularly at Newark market, so pop and say hello and try a delicious bake!
Next up is Family Doodle Doo, I love these wooden pegs so much. Kaley who runs this business is so creative and I love seeing all of her designs throughout the year. I had some little pegs done for my studio last year, I absolutely love them. She is offering some specific Mother's day wooden pegs, but if you have a browse of her beautiful Etsy shop there are so many designs, you will be sure to find something special to gift. My personal favourites at the moment are the ladybirds and bees, so cute! You can find her on Instagram and her Etsy shop is linked below!
I have followed Tinkered by Danielle for a while and I love her wire art so much, it is beautiful and she has some really colourful pieces and fun ideas. She is offering this gorgeous Mum hoop as below, but have a look through all of the designs in her Etsy shop, I love the little Goose and the hearts, such wonderful ideas for gifts.
